CS:GO Float Value Checker

How To Check Skin Float Value in CS:GO

The CSGO float value checker can provide the float/wear value and paint index of any gun as long as you have the inspect link. The float value of a skin defines its texture wear, and there are different ranges for different float values. Here they are:

Float value Texture wear

  • 0.00 – 0.07 Factory New
  • 0.07 – 0.15 Minimal Wear
  • 0.15 – 0.38 Field-Tested
  • 0.38 – 0.45 Well-Worn
  • 0.45 – 1.00 Battle-Scarred

Notice: some CS2 skins also come with a maximum and minimum float value. This, for example, goes for the AK-47 Redline. But don’t worry, you’ll also get this info when the lookup has gone through.

What is float value and what can I use it for?

The float value system is what the game uses to determine how damaged your skin or knife is. When you unbox a weapon, it doesn’t come as brand new, field-tested, or whatever the names are. It comes with a number or a percentage (usually a number). The number goes from 0% – 100% / 0-1.

Small decimals are good whereas big percentages are good. This is because the decimal tells you how much is missing from the skin, whereas the weapon tells how much of the weapon is covered.

The tool above can help you figure out the float value of the weapon so that you know its condition.

Usually, it’s always the case, that the better condition your skin is in, the more it is worth.
